Minutes Planning Commission meeting 12/7/2015

Present: Rick Wright, Matt Post, Lisa Bible, Kevin Bible 
Absent: Fred Simpson

Rick Wright was selected as chairman, Matt Post as vice chair 
and Kevin Bible as secretary.
Documents reviewed: Planning Commission Handbook, Bancroft 
Master Plan, and Village of Bancroft Zoning Ordinances.
It was unanimously agreed the commission would recommend to 
council to proceed with updating/revising of the master plan. 
Prior to next meeting Kevin Bible will contact Lisa Demankowski 
regarding possible assistance, Rowe and Associates for digital 
files of master plan and to verify permission to alter and possible 
republishing. Lisa Bible will gather updated statistical data from 2010 census.
Further initial recommendations to council are that they appoint 
a zoning administrator/liaison to work with Regional Inspections 
in monitoring for new and ongoing issues in the village and to 
advise council and Regional Inspections of all such activity. It is 
also recommended that the council decrease the Zoning Board 
of Appeals from 5 members to 3 and to continue looking for residents 
willing to fill those seats.

Addendum 12/8/2015  I spoke with Doug Piggott at Rowe and 
Associates who states he will send a CD of the Zoning Ordinances 
and Master Plan. He stated that these items are the property of the 
Village of Bancroft and that they may revise and publish as they see fit. 
I also spoke with Lisa Demankowski and she offered her assistance with 
the revision.
