Motion Rescinded Chris Barron would like to have a “ Farmers Market” on Sundays in Village. Dennis Sutherby is with “In Faith” missionary. Just letting council know they are available to help the residents of Bancroft with any needs they may have. For instance, yard work or painting. Discussion was held on emergency siren. It did not go off during tornado warning because power was out and battery low. Unfinished Business 1. Discussion on water tower cathodic protection plan. Some maintenance can be done by the D.P.W. such as foundation repair and painting bottom of tower where rust is present. D.P.W. recommends hiring Keith Nelson for $2,000.00.(Recommendations are attached to original minutes) Tabled till August meeting, President will get bids. 2. FOIA guidelines. President will get the structural sheet for Council. 3. MML Webinar on the “Opens Meetings Act” costs $10.00. President suggests if Council is interested to get on the MML website. 4. Discussion on fees to shut off or turn on water service. It was decided to leave it as is. New Business 1. Discussion on updating the Police computer in the office with a refurbished computer. Motion Barnum Support R. Miller Purchase a refurbished computer for the Police Dept. Not to exceed $300.00 for computer and necessary software. RCV Yeas: All MC 2. $54.00 given to Shana Post last month for Village Website was not correct amount. Village owes an additional $95.00. Council discussed getting a Credit card to use for Website. Motion Bible Support Barnum Authorize to pay additional $95.00 to reimburse Shana Post for renewing the Domain name on Village Website. RCV Yeas: All MC 3. Master Plan Review was discussed. Changes made to “Terms of Employment”. 1. Added Jury Pay 2. Under Duties (D) Flex time for meeting attendance. D.P. W. is to adjust his work schedule by 2 hrs. the week of the meeting. 3. RCV All Yeas MC Public Comment Lisa Fall would like Council to hold off doing anything with the alleys until someone talks to D.P.W. Alley is healing from round up and too much salt.
