Meeting opened with the Pledge of Allegiance.
Council Present: Bible, J. Dagen, Goodrich, A. Miller, R. Miller, Post, Sedlock, Cole, Johnson.
Employees: Buckelew, LePage.
Guests: Tanya Buckelew, Brenda Boyd.

President would like to add  reports from the DPW, Police, Himself and have Council comments.

President would like to consolidate committees.

2 Council members and the Village President.

4. Security update.
Who has keys to the Community Hall?  Boy Scouts, Historical Society, Post, Cole, Sedlock,       	
Johnson, DPW, & Police.
Keys to Village Office? Cole, Sedlock, Johnson, DPW, & Police.
Computer is protected with passwords.

5. Employee overtime approval.
Discussion on the 2 hrs overtime for regular meetings. Would DPW start 2 hrs later on the day of 		
council meeting? “No” says his contract states his hrs. are from 7am to 4pm.

Suspend all overtime for DPW except for emergencies.
Yeas: Bible, R. Miller, Johnson.

6. Village office hours.
The President will be in the office on Wednesday evenings from 5-7pm.
The Clerk and Treasurer will remain the same.

7. Downtown Development Authority (DDA) discussed.
DDA tabled till next month.

8. Establishing official Trustee e-mail addresses discussed.

9. Village Hall rental discussed.

Do not rent Village Hall for no less than $100.00. Except for what has already been booked.

10. Salt for roads discussed.
Council discussed a “My Deal Contract” with Shiawassee County.
Tabled till next month.

11. Humvee ownership? The U.S. Government owns the Humvee. Village pays for fuel and oil 	
changes.

12. Torch Set for DPW.

Replace DPW’s torch set at a cost of $325.00 from Dalton Elevator.
